Probing interacting dark energy and scattering of baryons with dark matter in light of the EDGES 21-cm signal

چکیده

The EDGES experiment has observed an excess trough ($-500^{+200}_{-500}$ mK) in the brightness temperature $T_{21}$ of 21cm absorption line neutral Hydrogen atom (HI) from era cosmic dawn ($z \simeq 17.2$). We consider possible interaction Dark Matter and Energy fluid along with cooling off baryon matter by its collision to explain $T_{21}$. make use three different Matter-Dark (DM-DE) models taste viability those explaining results. evolution Hubble parameter is modified DM-DE interactions this also addressed work. This turn influences optical depth HI as well thus effects temperature. In addition we find that enables us explore varied mass regimes their viabilities terms satisfying result.

Interacting Dark Matter and Dark Energy

We discuss models for the cosmological dark sector in which the energy density of a scalar field approximates Einstein’s cosmological constant and the scalar field value determines the dark matter particle mass by a Yukawa coupling. A model with one dark matter family can be adjusted so the observational constraints on the cosmological parameters are close to but different from what is predicte...

Constraining dark matter through 21 cm observations

Beyond reionization epoch cosmic hydrogen is neutral and can be directly observed through its 21 cm line signal. If dark matter (DM) decays or annihilates the corresponding energy input affects the hydrogen kinetic temperature and ionized fraction, and contributes to the Lyα background. The changes induced by these processes on the 21 cm signal can then be used to constrain the proposed DM cand...

The imprint of warm dark matter on the cosmological 21-cm signal

We investigate the effects of warm dark matter (WDM) on the cosmic 21-cm signal. If dark matter exists as WDM instead of cold dark matter (CDM), its non-negligible velocities can inhibit the formation of low-mass haloes that normally form first in CDM models, therefore delaying star formation. The absence of early sources delays the build-up of UV and X-ray backgrounds that affect the 21-cm rad...

the role of russia in transmission of energy from central asia and caucuses to european union

Evolution of light domain walls interacting with dark matter.

In this paper we discuss the evolution of domain walls generated in the early Universe considering, unlike the previous studies, an interaction between the walls and a major gaseous component of the dark matter. It is assumed that the walls can reflect the particles elastically and with a reAection coe%cient of unity. We discuss a toy Lagrangian that could give rise to such a phenomenon. In the...
